Contracts manager passive fire

Russell Taylor Group are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Passive Firestopping Contracts Manager to join their company on a full-time, permanent basis in East Sussex Our client, who have been in business for over 40 years, offering Plastering, Partitioning, Dry-lining and Suspended Ceilings services, are extremely diverse in terms of the packages that they are able to undertake with projects ranging from GBP1,000 to GBP1m. They cover most sectors including: Residential Housing and Apartments, Retirement Accommodation, Healthcare, Commercial, Education and Industrial warehouses. Responsibilities: Organising, supervising, managing and overseeing install operatives, in conjunction with the client site-based management team (where applicable). Undertaking quality control checks of installed works, signing-off as correct compliant. Producing agreeing with our clients, a sequenced programme of works. Regularly reviewing progress there against, providing updates to our clients the companies Construction Director. Dealing with technical queries from clients, designers site management teams. Ordering materials, access equipment plant via the companies Buyer. Specifying compliant Passive Firestopping solutions, for ultimate sign-off by the Project Design Team. Oversee the full, accurate compliant use of the companies #39; data recording software, OneTrace. Attend orchestrate successful audits. Be capable of assisting the companies Estimator with the pricing of Tenders. Be capable of assisting the companies project Quantity Surveyor with the invoicing of works complete. Assist with the checking of labour invoices, these being on either a Pricework or Daywork basis. Assist with seeking out new contracts business development opportunities. Assist with obtaining competitive suppliers material prices. Liasing with clients, forming positive working relationships. Attending regular site-based meetings of a various nature. Full Time - Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.00. Based at offices located in East Sussex, however, the role will be predominantly mobile, regularly visiting all live contracts attending meetings. Occasional working from home. Salary ranging from GBP40k to GBP60k per annum, dependant on experience and capability. Statutory holiday and bank holidays entitlement.
