Mechanical maintenance engineer

Job Role: To carry out day to day Engineering and maintenance activities across Production facilities ensuring production equipment/machinery are maintained and serviced in order to deliver production requirements that meet the goals and objectives of the business. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: bull; Follow direction from Engineering Manager or Engineering Leader, Production Manager or nominated person/s bull; Guide and advise Skilled Operators and Line Leaders with queries in relation to the safe operation of plant and equipment. bull; Undertake duties appropriate to role as reasonably required. Maintenance: bull; Ensure maximum plant availability through effective response, fault finding diagnosis and repair of a wide range of plant equipment Conveyor, Elevators, Form Fill and Seals and Palletisers. bull; Clearly communicate all maintenance to key site contacts; Production Manager, Shift Supervisor, Engineering team colleagues as appropriate. bull; Assist developing planned maintenance schedules. bull; Follow and complete planned work schedules/instructions. bull; Maintain plant and equipment in accordance with the maintenance schedule. bull; Carry out installations of new plant and equipment. bull; Safe use of all engineering tools and equipment as required to ensure all operations run safe and efficiently including safe handling and installation of parts with and safe processes followed at all times. bull; Maintain and continually review/develop Safe Systems of Work incl. implementation of appropriate Risk Assessments as appropriate. bull; Ensure that hazards and risks are minimised. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 3 shift rotating. 6.00am-2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm 10.00pm-6.00am
