Assistant accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with our client based in Weymouth to assist them with recruitment for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. You will be liaising closely with the Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Manager providing month end support and analysis and reports for senior managements. Ownership of month-end and year-end processes for the general ledger; Management of financial accounts; Responsible for monthly intercompany reconciliations; Processing and posting transactional data; Assist with the year-end audit. Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy: Ideally studying towards accountancy qualifications or qualified by experience; Proficient user of Excel; A confident communicator who will question why; Exposure to month end duties and report building; Previous experience of ERP systems is desirable.
