Production Manager Location: Stoke on Trent Salary: Circa GBP45k - GBP50k Working Hours: Mon ndash; Thursday 07.00am ndash; 4.00pm Friday 07.00am ndash; 1.30pm A local uPVC Window and Door Manufacturer are now looking for a Production Manager to join their team. Production Manager ndash; Role Overview: * Manage a team of 60 people including cell leaders and production supervisors * Oversee the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. * Manage production schedules and workflows to ensure production targes are met. * Lead and develop a skilled production team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. * Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and maintain product standards. * Implement cost-effective production strategies to meet budgetary goals. * Develop and maintain production reports and performance metrics. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Production Manager ndash; Person Requirements: The ideal candidate MUST come from the Manufacturing Industry as a Production Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience: * Ideally have some Lean / Continuous Improvement experience or qualifications such as SixSigma * Proven experience in production management ideally from uPVC, Automotive, Aerospace or Plastics manufacturing industry. * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and leadership abilities. * Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions. * A commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
