Project design engineer

If you are a motivated and experienced engineer looking to contribute to a dynamic team in a highly regulated industry, we invite you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position Key Responsibilities Include: bull; Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates bull; Lead concept development and development testing bull; Present design reviews to internal and external stakeholders bull; Manage qualification programs and draft necessary documentation bull; Validate 3D models and 2D drawings bull; Validate tool designs, BOM rsquo;s, and routings bull; Establish and update compliance matrices and verification plans bull; Liaise with customers to ensure specifications are met bull; Support Project Manager in technical project activities bull; Manage technical risks using tools like Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis Skills, Experience Qualifications: bull; Experience in designing products in a highly regulated industry bull; Knowledge of metallic ducting systems or thin wall sheet metal products bull; Experience leading product development and qualification test programs bull; Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus bull; Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering bull; Basic understanding of CAD systems (CAITA or Autodesk Inventor) bull; Familiarity with New Product Introduction Process Principles (AS9745, APQP) bull; Strong communication and interpersonal skills bull; Self-motivated and proactive Desirable: bull; Basic understanding of CAD systems (CAITA or Autodesk Inventor) bull; New Product Introduction Process Principles (AS9745, APQP) bull; Cost estimating Company Benefits: bull; Competitive salary bull; Excellent pension and life assurance scheme bull; Career progression opportunities bull; 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) bull; Health and wellbeing services bull; Birthday vouchers bull; Employee Assistance Programme bull; Cycle to Work scheme bull; Free parking bull; Social events Please submit your application with a detailed CV showcasing your relevant experience and qualifications
