Quality manager

Actio Engineering recruitment are assisting one of our Bournemouth/Poole based precision engineering clients with their search for a Quality Manager. Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining company AS9100 Certification, all Customer Approvals and Company QMS * Ensure all Company Procedures are adhered to * Act as primary contact with all stakeholders in matters pertaining to Quality. * Lead Inspection Team providing detailed support when required. * Collate and Report Quality KPI rsquo;s to Senior Management Team * Identify trends to facilitate continuous improvement activity in a bid to drive down the cost of poor Quality and improve delivered Quality to customer * Ensure all Non-Conformances are investigated in a timely manner and robust preventative actions are implemented * Liaise with other group company quality functions on matters of best practice. * Develop and maintain appropriate annual internal audit programme Attributes: * Good communication skills both written and verbal at all levels * Organised with a keen eye for detail * Analytical approach to decision making/problem solving * Act as mentor/trainer in relation to process improvements * Customer facing professionalism Key Skills and Experience: Essential * HND/HNC education related to manufacturing (or equivalent experience) * Detailed technical inspection knowledge * Proven track record of Quality Management in a similar role. * Detailed knowledge of AS9100 good practice methodology * Conversant in Word and Excel Desirable * Use of MRP * Six Sigma * Mechanical Inspection * Technical CNC machining experience Salary Benefits * GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 per annum * Possible 4 day working week Monday to Thursday * Company Pension * Flexible working area * On-Site parking What Next?
