Tutor required

1st Staff Limited are one of the leading alternative providers working nationwide with specialist staff helping students from 4-25 years of age with both education and therapeutic needs. The Role 1st Staff are looking for tutors or post graduates who are able to work with students who have been excluded or on the verge of exclusion from both mainstream and SEN provisions in the Barking Dagenham area. Your role will be to deliver tuition sessions to help students gain the confidence and attainment levels required so they can be re-integrated in to mainstream/SEN Schools or further education. This is usually done on a one-to-one basis either in the family home or a public place such as a library. We provide ongoing training for those tutors who will be required to deliver lsquo;Thrive rsquo; our therapeutic programme. Position Details *Location - In the student #39;s home *Position 1:1 Tutor *Hours- Part Full time - 3 Hours a day, 5 days a week (During school hours, more hours available) *Start date- ASAP *Subjects- Deliver core subjects Experience Required: * Delivery of core subjects - Maths and English * Able to plan and deliver lessons * Excellent behaviour management * Working with SEN Benefits will include *Excellent pay rates (GBP15-GBP25 per hour) dependent on experience *Flexible working hours *Part-time or full-time work available *Long-term and short-term contracts available *Students within close proximity to each other Having your own transport or ability to travel wouldn rsquo;t be necessary but would be beneficial.
