Job Description: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing the financial aspects of industrial development projects in Surrey and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulations. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in driving project success. Roles and Responsibility: Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, from initial estimation to final account, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Manage procurement processes, including tendering, negotiation, and contract award, to secure the best value for materials, services, and subcontractors. Administer contracts, including preparing contract documents, assessing variations, and managing claims to protect the interests of the company Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections to keep stakeholders informed of project financial status Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, providing timely advice and solutions to minimize potential impacts. Help to produce CVR #39;s Project detail : Expected to undertake support on various Industrial and commercial JCT D B projects in East London area with values going between GBP5 to GBP15 million. My client are looking to pay a competitive basic salary including car allowance, travel and pension with the position looking to start ASAP but the client is happy to wait if the candidate has a notice period.
