Finance Assistant - Permanent Derby Salary - Negotiable dependent on experience Hours - Monday to Friday 40 hours Purpose of the Finance Assistant Role: Our client is looking for an Finance Assistant to join their finance department at an exciting time of growth to process accurate invoices and support the Head of Finance in carrying out other duties with accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress and develop in their career. Main duties and responsibilities of the Finance Assistant Role: . Processing accurate invoices in a timely manner. . Assisting the Head of Finance in other duties to support in managing accounts. . Ensuring that client information details are kept up-to-date. . Checking the data input to ensure the accuracy of the final bill. . Tracking payments and ensuring that the cash flow into the company is buoyant. . Reporting issues or irregularities to the Head of Finance. . Liaising with the logistics department and ensuring that goods are dispatched on time. . Recovering outstanding debts. . Handling clients #39; account queries. Experience/knowledge requirements for the Finance Assistant: . Experience in a similar finance role processing invoices. . Drive to grow and progress (opportunity to be put through training qualifications) . Strong written and verbal communication skills. . Understanding of basic accounting math. . Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries. . Familiar with accounting software. . Goof organisational skills to keep track of invoices. . Great customer service skills to work with various clients. . Knowledge of data entry for record-keeping. . General administrative skills, including managing emails and accounting books.
