Aspire are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs, providing tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential. Responsibilities: Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with special educational needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, adapting instructional materials and activities to suit their individual needs and abilities. Assist with the assessment of students #39; progress and development, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents/guardians as needed. Support students with personal care tasks, mobility assistance, and behaviour management strategies as required. Foster positive relationships with students, helping to build their confidence, self-esteem, and independence. Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent. Previous experience working as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, preferably in a school setting. Strong understanding of different special educational needs and evidence-based strategies for supporting students with SEN. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
