About the role Title ndash; Retail Security Officer Pay Rate ndash; Between GBP12 to GBP13.97 Location ndash; Welwyn Garden City Bessemer Road 108 Shift Timings ndash; Both full time and part time available between Monday to Sunday (shift times can be as early as 0700 start and 2300 finish) You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock such as food/drink, clothing and homeware items. As a security officer, your main role is to ensure the safety and security of both staff and visitors alike, by staying vigilant to any suspicious activity, follow ASCONE to ensure shoplifting is kept to a minimum, and deliver customer service to those who visit the store. Your main responsibilities may include: Patrolling the Retail Store Premises. Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store. Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices. Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations. Follow ASCONE To succeed in this role, you will need the following: Door supervisor SIA License (DS) 5-year checkable work/career history. Experience in a similar role, would an advantage Physically fit to undertake given tasks. Possess the ability to work under pressure.
