Senior structural design engineer

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a global Consulting Engineering Practice, on a permanent staff basis. This position is based in London with flexible working hours! The selected candidate will have the chance to be part of a successful Engineering team whilst being responsible for creating Structural designs and ensuring the successful delivery of projects across their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Design and specify elements for major projects Maintain and develop positive client relations Work closely with principal designers Assist in the production of calculations, drawings and reports. Attend meetings with Architects and Contractors. Liaising with clients and members of the design team to ensure progress against the project briefKey Requirements: A degree in Structural Engineering or a relevant field Extensive structural design experience in the UK Analytical knowledge and understanding of Engineering principles Past experience of undertaking steel and concrete designs Working knowledge of Eurocodes, UK Irish Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards Ability to develop successful relationships with Architects and Contractors Experience using Structural Engineering design software such as Tekla, TEDDS, ROBOT, AutoCAD and Revit Good interpersonal and communication skills Chartered or approaching Chartered Engineer statusBenefits: Flexible working Bonus potential A generous amount of holiday allowance Sickness Scheme Paid Professional Memberships Access to a pension Life Insurance- death in service Numerous social activities Cycle to work scheme A competitive salary Chartership ProgrammeTo be considered for this role you must already have Authorisation to Work in the UK
