Digital Printer / Large Format Printer Location: Hertfordshire Salary: DOE Company: Global leading organisation serving indoor, outdoor and online markets. Role: The post holder will be responsible for the effective running of digital / large format print presses including a Nozomi. You will produce work accurately in line with job specifications within the agreed timescales. To organize their department to be efficient, maintain stocks of core agreed materials and to ensure the equipment is maintained correctly. Responsibilities: * Operate digital / large format presses; * Operate a Nozomi press; * Collect and process work sent from the studio or pre-press department; * QC to job requirements; * Notify the supervisor/manager or liaise directly with Repro when issues occur; * Maintain and process work according to the production schedule; * Produce print and finishing in line with company quality processes and standards; * Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy; * Work using 5s principles; * Ensure company Health and Safety policies are adhered to; * Maintain the machinery to the manufacturer rsquo;s recommendations; * Carry out every day essential maintenance to ensure machine performs at the highest standards * Problem solving minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department. * Carry out other departmental related operations which may involve finishing and despatch duties; * Step up and run the department in the absence of the Departmental Supervisor Requirements: * Must have digital / large format print experience * Experience running a nozomi press but not essential * Knowledge of POS print production practices and processes would be advantageous but not essential * Operational experience with variable data printing * Demonstrable attention to detail * Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious * Demonstrable attention to detail * Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious team member Apply: Please email your full CV details to us.
