But to keep our business ahead, we need a crack team of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to service and maintain our fleet. We re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Wakefield. You ll work 45 hours per week on a Monday to Friday back shift, and play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced, and safe. Pay, benefits and more. We re looking to offer a competitive salary of up to GBP 42,000 dependent on experience, plus overtime. What you ll do on a typical day: :Carry out MOT preparations, servicing, and repairs on our fleet of HGVs :Diagnose faults on vehicles :Work on Rigids, Tractors, and Trailers :Knowledge of tail lifts an advantage What you need to succeed at XPO: :Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role :Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City and Guilds (desirable) :A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable) Be part of something big XPO is a leading provider of world:class solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
