Offshore technician

Our client based in Aberdeenshire are looking for Experienced Offshore Technicians to join their team on a staff basis. Job purpose: Multi-Disciplined Service Technician duties to include assembly, test, operate, service and maintain company and third-party equipment offshore. bull; When working on company equipment to report to and take direction from offshore supervisors. bull; To actively participate in pre and post job briefings and to ensure that appropriate knowledge transfer takes place. bull; To become familiar with company and third-party equipment, to follow appropriate procedures during assembly, testing, operations, servicing and maintenance of this equipment. bull; To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and guidelines bull; To be responsible for own safety and the safety of others within the workplace by working in a safe, tidy and efficient manner bull; To carry out various other general duties as directed and to represent the company in a professional manner Other Tasks/General: bull; To always maintain a clean and safe working area bull; To ensure compliance with defined HSE policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement bull; To ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies bull; Any other reasonably delegated responsibilities as instructed by line management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirement Desired Qualities/Qualifications Essential bull; Time served in a mechanical, hydraulic role. bull; Previous experience in an offshore environment. bull; Good knowledge of mechanically operated tools and diesel engines. bull; Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems and the control components within these systems bull; Strong focus on client satisfaction. bull; Must have good verbal and written communication skills Preferred bull; Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar. bull; Candidates with diesel, hydraulic, UHP or HP water pumping experience. bull; Knowledge of hydraulic circuits bull; Plant machinery experience bull; Good knowledge of subsea services industry equipment
