Senior cnc machinist

Our client based in Methlick are looking for a Senior CNC Machnist to join their team on a staff basis. Job description: bull; Interpret client specifications, enter them onto the CNC machine bull; Set up machine and monitor it as it operates to ensure delivery of quality precision made parts Optimizing the machining processes in terms of consistent quality and productivity bull; Supervise and coordinate activities in the machine shop bull; Operating computer-controlled machine to cut, make and manufacture precision parts bull; Load and unload material, set up and operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine bull; Assisting in Quality control of parts and stock control bull; Ensuring that operating policies and procedures are adhered to bull; Basic servicing and maintenance of equipment bull; General house keeping Desired Qualities/Qualifications bull; Recognized apprenticeship or training program in a technical discipline preferred. bull; Previous experience operating CNC Machinery bull; Strong leadership experience in a similar working environment The successful candidate should have good attention to detail, work to a high standard and be able to work on own initiative
