Teaching assistant

ABC Teachers are currently looking for experienced, caring and resilient Teaching Assistants with experience working with children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to work in primary schools in Burton on Trent and surrounding areas. You will be working to support the teacher and expected to support the children on a one to one and whole classroom basis. To be considered for a Teaching Assistant position, you will: Have experience with primary age children in a school environment A Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning would be ideal but this is not compulsory if you have relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or a Nursery Nurse Be able to provide references to cover the last two years As well as having a DBS registered with the update service or be willing to process a new one ABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
