Accounts payable administrator

Job title: Accounts Payable Administrator Job Type: Contract IR35 Status: Inside Start date: Immediate Duration: 3 month rolling contract Pay rate: GBP24,000 - GBP29,000 pro rata depending on experience Location: Retford Hours of work: Part time, 2 days per week Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience: Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable role or similar. Good working knowledge of MS Excel Can work effectively as part of a team but also independently following own initiative. Highly organized, strong attention to detail and accurate Ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively and deal with multiple stakeholders. Role information: Processing invoices, credit notes and payments accurately and within timelines. Support the business in the supplier invoice query process and ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner. Manage invoice approvals with the business. Completion of supplier reconciliations Ensuring timely operational KPI #39;s are established and met. Support root cause analysis for lapses in timeliness and accuracy in the regular processing and reporting activities and take necessary corrective and preventive action. Supporting the wider P2P process end to end, including working closely with the site Supply Chain team Participate in strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organization, (financial, process or talent) Support the finance function with other tasks, including month end journals, creation of AR invoices, cash applications and bank reconciliations. Communicate and co-ordinate closely with the AP Manager and other stakeholders.
