Due to continued success they currently have some great opportunities for Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join the team. About the Business: You will work within a team to build and assemble machinery intended for the food industry. You will join a team of around assembly technicians and will report to the Assembly Manager. As one of their Assembly Technician #39;s, you will be based on site, but you will also be required to communicate with other departments across the other buildings. Key Tasks and Accountabilities: * Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard. * Ensure machinery is fully PDI #39;d and tested prior to delivery. * Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns. * Being self-disciplined, proactive, and hard working. * High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills. * Working to deadlines and delivery dates. * Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded. * Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons. * On-site commissioning and customer training. Experience: * Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main * assemblies. * Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits. * Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate. * Can carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of company equipment. * General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping. * Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed. Shift Pattern/Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. 40 hours per week.
