Job Role ndash; CNC Setter Operator The CNC Setter Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a CNC lathe to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Duties ndash; CNC Setter Operator bull; Manufacture products and work with engineering to provide input to new developments and legacy products. bull; Work within a small, multi-disciplined team, operating and maintaining the equipment with focus on operating CNC Mills and lathes. bull; From time-to-time work on Milling machines as required bull; Interpret engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of the finished work piece. bull; Be able to sequence operations, tooling, programming and setup requirements to manufacture components efficiently. bull; Liaise with Quality on non-conformance suggest resolution activities. bull; Maintain batch traceability on raw material delivered and usage on Shop Orders. bull; Ability to recognize, solve implement required changes for machining related problems. bull; Work in co-operation with Manufacturing team to ensure product meets the agreed standard. bull; Ensure that production documentation is kept up-to-date and accurate. Experience/Qualifications ndash; CNC Setter Operator bull; CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Setting Operating bull; Familiar with speeds and feeds for Aluminium and Stainless Steel bull; Understanding of programming languages FANUC, ProtoTRAK, G-Code Candidates who are currently an CNC Programmer, CNC Setter, CNC Operator, Machinist, Miller, Turner and CMM Inspector could be suitable for this role.
