Trainee mechanical engineer

Trainee Mechanical Engineer Job in Ringwood Our client is a thriving design and engineering firm who are searching for a Trainee Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This position will be working with a great range of commercial clients and will offer fantastic training and development opportunities. The Trainee Mechanical Engineer will be working closely with the firm #39;s project managers and mechanical engineers and will be trained in all areas of the business, including how to comprehensively use AutoCAD and complete estimating and project tasks. After completing this 2-year training programme you rsquo;ll be allowed to specialise in an area that you have developed a particular interest in. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assisting the Mechanical Design Engineer with a range of projects * Train to use CAD software and estimating software, ensign. * Learn how to do estimations and quotes for client projects * Assist with managing projects for clients in various sectors including healthcare, retail, and commercial * Attend client visits around the country Minimum Skills Required for the Trainee Mechanical Engineer: * Relevant qualification or degree (I.e., BTEC engineering or BSc Mechanical Engineering) * Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications) * Proactive and keen to get stuck in Salary and Benefits: * A salary of GBP20,000 ndash; 23,000 PA dependent on experience * 20 days holiday + bank holidays ndash; increasing with length of service * Monday ndash; Friday, 8.00 am ndash; 5.00 pm * Excellent training and opportunities for career advancement * Private healthcare scheme * Company pension * On-site parking This Trainee Mechanical Engineer Job in Ringwood would suit candidates who are interested in gaining great all-around experience and have recently completed a relevant qualification or degree.
