Finance assistant

A local company are looking for an experienced individual to join their growing team as a Finance Assistant. The company are a family run business and are looking for an AAT qualified or equivalent individual. Working hours will consist of 25 to 30 hours, either worked as 3 full days or 5 days in school hours. All worked between the hours of 08:30-17:00. Duties of the role: * Sales Ledger with payment receipts. * Purchase Ledger including inputting, balancing and paying suppliers. * Conducting bank reconciliations. * Completing VAT returns. * Taking inbound calls and making relevant outbound calls, managing queries. * General administration. You must: * Have an AAT qualification or equivalent. * Hold previous experience within a Finance Assistant role. * Show strong communication skills both written and verbal. * Be computer literate, confident on spreadsheet work and able to learn new software. * Work well within a team. * Be willing to develop within your role. Experience using Sage Accounts and Payroll would be advantageous but is not required. Offering GBP30,000-GBP35,000 per annum pro rata, this is a fantastic opportunity with the potential for progression. This position also has the potential to become a full-time role and ideally flexibility for this would be offered by the candidate.
