Finance manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing client based in Bicester. A family run business, this company is looking for a dedicated individual to support their existing team to meet the increasing demand. Working hours will consist of 25 to 30 hours, either worked as 3 full days or 5 days in school hours. All worked between the hours of 08:30-17:00. Duties of the role: * Sales Ledger with payment receipts. * Reconcile nominal balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving outstanding balances. * Purchase Ledger including inputting, balancing and paying suppliers. * Maintain knowledge of all HMRC requirements for the business to include VAT returns, Benefits in Kind, Corporation tax, etc. * Conducting bank reconciliations. * Understand profit and loss alongside balance sheets in order to report to Senior Management supporting with year end preparation. * Completing VAT returns. * Wage preparation. * Sage payroll and Pension administration. * CIS and DRC processing. * Execute and understand nominals and journals. * Stock control. * Taking inbound calls and making relevant outbound calls, managing queries and following up outstanding debt. * General administration. You must: * Have an AAT qualification or equivalent. * Hold previous experience within a Finance Manager role. * Be computer literate, confident on spreadsheet work and able to learn new software. * Work well within a team. * Show strong communication skills both written and verbal. * Be willing to develop within your role. * Demonstrate experience with Sage Accounts and Payroll. Overtime this role has the potential to become a full time position, and the ideal candidate would be able to offer this flexibility.
