Manufacturing Engineering Manager Audenshaw Flexi Hours, Monday to Friday GBP50,000 to GBP65,000 DOE Pension, Life Assurance, Holidays My client, a market leader in their field are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join the business. This is a really exciting opporutnity, the business invests annually on equipment, processes and staff. This role is pivitol in working on key projects and driving the business forward. Role Description Manage the team members within Production Engineering and work closely with key technical staff to ensure there is application of appropriate engineering skills, support is provided for production and NPI Porjects. Manage and improve business facilities, overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and to budget Assiting the business in providing a safe environment for staff with development opportunties Ensure the business is supported in solving problem that affect production, minimising delays Conduct H S risk assessments Utilise PFMEA where possible Ensure the design, trial, manufacture and commission of tools and fixtures Implement and work to KPI #39;s, promoting lean tools and culture Skills and Qualifications Minimum 5 Years manufacturing experience within an engineering leadership role Track record of successfully managing and developing teams and individuals Proven responsibility for engineering budgets, including CAPEX expenditure Proficent use of CAD Packages - Solidworks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD Experience in applying CI / Lean principles in a manufacturing setting Project Management experience Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word Data-driven and analyticalCompany Information As a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
