Finance assistant

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Manufacturing business based in Sheffield as they look for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is perfect for someone who has had experience with both Accounts Payable/ Receivable duties and who is looking for a new challenge. This role can offer AAT study support if you wish to progress with your studies. The main duties of this role will include: - Complete Purchase Ledger invoice posting and matching processes for multiple sites. - Credit management and Cash Allocation for all business units - Complete month end reconciliations - Purchase Sales Ledger performed to ensure correct controls are maintained - Complete Supplier Statements Reconciliations - Ensure all month end sales and purchase ledger reporting requirements are me - Assist in the completion of monthly management accounts - Skills and experience: - Experience of working in a similar Finance Assistant role - Willingness to learn and develop your skills - Good organisational skills - Ability to be punctual and reliable Monday - Friday 37 hours (Early finish on Friday) Up to GBP30,000 On-site parking 25 days holiday + bank holidays Hybrid working (After probation) If you would like to know more about this role, please email (url removed) or alternatively call Tom on (phone number removed) Sharp Consultancy is a finance and accountancy recruitment specialist assisting accounting and finance divisions of businesses in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area.
