Somerset Council are recruiting for an Adult Social Worker to work in the immediate care team. The Role: To undertake assessments of risk and care needs in relation to service users and carers so that within relevant legislation, appropriate action is taken, monitored and reviewed effectively. * At least 50% of time expected to be on site at Shepton Mallet in Somerset, the rest of the role can be performed remotely with flexibility around days in the office * Estimated case load around 20. * Travel will be required to various units to complete necessary work to enable discharge. * Full time is preferred, however managers are willing to consider flexible hours or condensed hours.
