Reference 58341 Navigator (NSAP) 10 Ferndale Crescent, Highgate, Birmingham B12 OHF Salary: GBP26,966.00 fixed term contract till 31-03-2025 Contracted Hours 37.5 on a rota-pattern over 7 days working 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and occasional 9am-5pm. Plus occasional nightshift to support Rough Sleeper Counts. About the role: Working as part of a much wider Navigator and Outreach Team you will be based at 10 Ferndale Crescent, Highgate, Birmingham B1 1LB, which supports up to 11 former entrenched rough sleepers with addiction, mental health, and physical health concerns. The role will also have outreach responsibilities supporting the outreach team if deemed necessary by service managers. The key to our navigator roles being a success is to build strong and effective trauma informed relationships that navigate our service users daily activities assisting with appointments for detox, rehab, NHS and mental health professionals, whilst also assisting with management of budgets, relationships, all aspects of managing a tenancy, identifying housing and move-on. The fun side develops activity, hobby, and wellbeing options for the service user to aid continual recovery and community involvement. The role is to do with, not do for. Being both PIE and Trauma Informed. With a level of personal resilience that can meet the demands of the role. A relevant professional qualification is also required.
