Cnc machinist

Position: CNC Machinist Area: Aberdeen Salary: GBP18ph - GBP20ph Shifts: 7am ndash; 4pm Monday to Friday (Friday 2pm finish) The Role: * Operate CNC machines with Mazatrol and Siemens control systems to fabricate parts as per specifications. * Program and set up machines for optimal performance. * Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for conformance to specifications. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies. Requirements: * Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints. * Skilled in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. * Proficient in both turning and milling processes. * Capable of performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines. * A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining. * Proven track record of working with various materials, including metals and composites. * Experience in optimizing machining processes for efficiency and quality. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision. * Problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision. * Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration. * Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in CNC machining
