Possessions planner

Job description: This is a great opportunity to join a major Civil Engineering contractor. They specialise in Transportation, Highways and major Civil Engineering projects. They are currently seeking a Possessions Planner located in Petersfield. Responsibilities for this role include: bull; To attend and represent the company at relevant Possession Management meetings. bull; Carry out work associated with Possessions Planning and submit accurate information relating to any planned possession with the necessary applications. bull; Plan and create Safe Systems of Work plans in accordance with the type of work required to take place, to the responsible manager expectations. bull; Brief and update the COSS supervisor on SSOWPs ensuring that all is understood and compliant as well and informing all project involved management of SSOWs of project requirements. bull; Maintain a continued working practice in line with the industry rule book regulations and comply with set policies and procedures. bull; Work and communicate closely with project/responsible manager and other Planners to ensure that SSOWP are produced accurately and in a timely manner. bull; Assist in Safe Work Pack generation. bull; Control and monitor documents. bull; Observe and follow all applicable safe methods of working, and health, safety and environmental rules/procedures. Report any incidents or Close Calls immediately to the appropriate person. bull; Undertake training as required by your manager or the Company. bull; Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures. bull; Be a business ambassador, upholding and reflecting the ethos and values of the Company. bull; Work in accordance with their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy bull; Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Company bull; Work flexibly and be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a growing Company. Requirements: bull; Significant experience in a similar role bull; Be a holder of SSOWP bull; Have held or hold a PTS / COSS certificate with good working experience bull; Have an excellent appreciation of rail related health, safety and environmental standards bull; Possess a good Trackside Safety Critical knowledge bull; Competent in the use of the Railhub system bull; Competent in the use of the Network Rail Possession Planning System bull; Results driven and delivery focused bull; Excellent communicator at all levels and client-focussed bull; Self-motivated and a team player bull; A strong and proactive communicator. bull; Works collaboratively and builds effective working relationships. bull; Highly competent in MS Office. bull; Presents a professional image with the qualities to act as a business ambassador. bull; A good understanding and application of health, safety environment practices. bull; Flexibility in your approach to work. bull; Full driving license
