Groups and flights travel consultant

Our client, a leading business in the Travel sector is seeking a Groups and Flights Travel Consultant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Due to growth our client is looking for a Groups and Flights Travel consultant to join their existing team on a full-time basis, working closely with the department where you rsquo;re responsible for the organization of both group and individual travel, including air travel, ground transportation, hotel accommodation and booking meeting rooms. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years rsquo; experience in the Travel sector in a similar role, and be proficient in the use of GDS (Amadeus). Key Responsibilities: - Booking flights using GDS (Amadeus) - Obtaining customer quotations - Sourcing hotels to match requirements and budgets - Invoicing customers - Compiling suggested itineraries for customers - Booking transfers - Negotiating with hotels to get favorable prices and Ts and Cs - Account management Key Experience: - A minimum of 1 years rsquo; experience in the Travel sector in a similar role - Proficient use of Amadeus - Able to work both independently and as part of a team - Excellent accuracy and attention to detail at all times - Solid travel knowledge - Excellent diary management ability - Able to liaise with colleagues and clients of all levels, building and maintaining relationships - Able to work to deadlines and in a pressured / fast-paced environment This is an exceptional opportunity for a Travel Consultant to join a thriving business who are leaders within their field at an exciting time of growth.
