Quantity surveyor civil engineering

We are searching for a Quantity Surveyor for a market-leading Groundwork General Civil Engineering contractor to carry out surveying duties on a range of projects, including general civil engineering and groundworks for apartments, hotels, and commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. The role will include developing close inter-relations with Clients and Subcontractors and maintaining profitable contracts. It is a key appointment for the business and underpins the continued growth aspirations of the Business Unit. Reports directly to the Commercial Director. The role boasts future progression, a competitive salary all expenses paid travel opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Attending tender handover meetings on secured projects and taking responsibility for all relevant cost information. Form contract budgets from tender information calculating total profit/loss forecasts. Carry out monthly budget monitoring. Providing interim cost and value reconciliation, and monitoring cash flows for projects on Oracle. Preparation and agreement of interim Applications for Payment and Final Accounts, all aspects of measurement Preparation and compilation of subcontract documentation with appropriate orders. Implement subcontract payment controls, variations, materials, contra charges, and claims. Record keeping of site progress, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Liaise and coordinate with all business unit departments to improve all levels of communication to benefit and develop the companies #39; objectives.Experience And Qualifications Quantity Surveyor experience within the Groundwork sector.
