As the Performance Optimisation Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance, integrity and customer experience of our district energy schemes. Your impact As the Lead Performance Optimisation Engineer, you #39;ll be driving innovation and excellence in asset performance. You #39;ll leverage your deep understanding of Energy Centre technology, including control systems, distribution networks, customer heat interface units and heat pumps, to lead end-to-end projects that elevate our fleet of assets. You #39;ll collaborate closely with the Maintenance and Operational teams, ensuring enhancements that span from financial performance to technical integrity. Key responsibilities include * Harnessing extensive knowledge and experience in heat and chill networks. * Applying operational insight from energy, petrochemicals, and asset-based industries. * Managing commercial and technical performance in power/heat plants. * Overseeing on-site projects and engaging stakeholders. * Delivering exceptional customer service within a 24/7 environment. * Thinking strategically and fostering cross-business commitment. * Challenging the status quo to push boundaries forward. * Utilising project management expertise. * Ensuring health and safety across complex commercial environments. What we need from you * An engineering qualification (degree or HNC) with extensive experience. * Extensive knowledge of control systems and control philosophy. * Proficiency in designing, commissioning, and maintaining diverse engineering assets. * Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (CDM, HASWA, IGEM, etc.). * Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). * IT proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and more. * Exceptional communication and influencing skills. Here rsquo;s what you need to know * The salary for this role is circa GBP73,000. * This role is based at our Citigen site in Central London with travel predominantly within the London area.
