Sen teaching assistant

Our vibrant SEN school in Hackney, managed by Tradewind Recruitment, is searching for a passionate individual to join our team after April half term. This long-term role, spanning 5 days per week, is dedicated to supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, across Key Stage 1 (KS1). Your daily hours will be from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, providing ample time to make a meaningful impact during the school day. As an essential part of our community, you #39;ll play a pivotal role in re-engaging children who have faced barriers to education due to the complexity of their needs. Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one support to KS1 students with complex needs Assisting in planning and delivering individualised and group learning activities Helping pupils identify and overcome barriers to learning Encouraging self-regulation through nurturing and reflection Cultivating pride in achievements and fostering curiosity Promoting a sense of responsibility in their learning journey Creating an enjoyable and imaginative learning environment to reignite their passion for learningWe offer a supportive environment and opportunities for ongoing professional development.
