Manual turner

Role: Manual Turner Sector: Precision machining Base Salary: GBP28860PA + Overtime at T frac12; Hours: 37pw (Flexible working times) Location: Leicester Our client has a growing order book and new and as such need a Manual Turner covering all turning activities and who is ideally based in and around Leicester. As a Manual Turner, you would be turning metal in to precision part, checking one-offs, use of measurement equipment, setting up jigs and fixtures, complete paperwork in a timely manner. This will be a great long-term role for the right candidate that rsquo;s with a growing company. Desirable skills as a Manual Turner * Experience in Turning Manual machines * Able to read and interpret machining drawings * Must be willing to do overtime * Colchester Tornado 300, 200, A50, (Some Experience) * Colchester Triumph long and short bed (Some Experience) * Turret Mill, Vertical Mills, Horizontal mills, Rambaudi Uni Mills (nice to have) * Juaratsi machine - horizontal Boring (nice to have) * Ability to work to tight deadlines * Ability to work under pressure * Must have a high attention to detail If you have some of the experience with these types of machines and want to learn more then we would be very interested in talking with you.
