Mechanical maintenance engineer

you must come from a CNC Machine shop background Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance engineer, based at their manufacturing unit in Trafford Park. Working 37 hours per week on a 3-shift rotating pattern in line with the Flexible Working Scheme. Skills Experience: #xF0B7; Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams #xF0B7; Have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels #xF0B7; Have the ability to work shifts and additional hours when required #xF0B7; Time served and have worked within a heavy industrial environment #xF0B7; Must be able to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team #xF0B7; Experience with CNC lathes, machining centres an advantage #xF0B7; Knowledge of health and safety principles. Responsibilities: Responsible to the line manager your role will include: #xF0B7; Providing breakdown cover - mechanical #xF0B7; Assisting fitters with mechanical breakdowns and repair work #xF0B7; Identifying and leading improvements to processes #xF0B7; Carrying out preventative maintenance work in line with PPM schedules #xF0B7; Fault identification #xF0B7; Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard Education / Qualifications: #xF0B7; Strong fault finding ability #xF0B7; BTEC HNC Mechanicall Engineering or equivalent To apply please forward your cv in word format
