Electrical maintenance engineer

you must come from a CNC Machine shop background Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Electrician, based at their manufacturing unit in Trafford Park. Working 37 hours per week on a 3-shift rotating pattern in line with the Flexible Working Scheme. Skills Experience: #xF0B7; Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams #xF0B7; Have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels #xF0B7; Have the ability to work shifts and additional hours when required #xF0B7; Time served and have worked within a heavy industrial environment #xF0B7; Must be able to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team #xF0B7; Experience with CNC lathes, machining centres an advantage #xF0B7; Knowledge of Siemens 840C / 840D control systems and 611 drives #xF0B7; Knowledge of health and safety principles. Responsibilities: Responsible to the line manager your role will include: #xF0B7; Providing breakdown cover - electrical and mechanical #xF0B7; Electrical fault finding and repair of production machines #xF0B7; Assisting fitters with mechanical breakdowns and repair work #xF0B7; PLC fault finding ability #xF0B7; Identifying and leading improvements to processes #xF0B7; Carrying out preventative maintenance work in line with PPM schedules #xF0B7; Fault identification and reporting of faults on CMMS system #xF0B7; Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard #xF0B7; Electrical installation work to current wiring standards #xF0B7; Maintenance of building electrical services / office infrastructure. Education / Qualifications: #xF0B7; Strong fault finding ability #xF0B7; BTEC HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent #xF0B7; City Guilds 17th / 18th Edition #xF0B7; Good IT skills ndash; CMMS experience an advantage but training will be provided
