Electrical supervisor

Job title: Electrical Supervisor Location: Avonmouth Salary: GBP42,114.00 p/a (Inclusive of on call) GBP150 per on call week Hours: 40 hours per Week On call Requirement: 1 in every 4 weeks We are advertising this Lead Electrician role on behalf of our client lsquo;CBES. Job Purpose: To maintain and repair a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment including all building services as defined on the ldquo;Scope of Works rdquo; in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy. To carry out management duties as detailed in the principal accountabilities. To provide on-site coaching to the Technicians and other engineers within your team. Key Accountabilities: * Provide on call cover to multiple sites and be part of the on-call rota * Provide technical support to the DMT * Ensure under performance on KPI rsquo;s are understood within the teams and action plans are in place to improve performance * Ensure that all costs are approved following the correct company procedures * Check the quality of PPM rsquo;s conducted by the DMT rsquo;s and DMA rsquo;s during site visits * Support the Hard Services Manager on technical, organisational and people issues * Provide cover for the Engineering Manager during times of absence, holidays, and meetings. * Carry out specified depot programme both reviews on quality and Health Safety and act on non-compliances * Complete specified reports and act on any issues raised * Audit FM documentation and act on any non-compliances * Complete and monitor all necessary reports on the performance of team members and take action on unsatisfactory performance. Qualifications Experience: * City Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Installation (or equivalent) * City Guilds 2391 (Testing Inspection) * BS7671:2018 ndash; Wiring Regulations 18th Edition * CITB SSSTS (or equivalent) * Proven track record of supervising a team within an electrical maintenance environment. * Previous experience of managing/prioritising a varied/demanding workload. * Minimum 3 years rsquo; previous experience of operating within a large-scale distribution site * Excellent communication skills (written verbal) and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client. * Proficient with MS Office. * Knowledge of CAFM software and experience of Verisae.
