General operative

Gi Group are seeking operatives to work for our client based in New Holland (DN19) Our client has a drive for service and people, setting high standards in the quality of product and the overall operations process, supplying market-leading multi-product solutions including structural timber and bespoke milling services. Pay rate - GBP12.19 per hour (with overtime rates up to GBP19.50) Hours of work - (Apply online only)hrs / (Apply online only)hrs Monday to Friday, regular overtime available Contract type- temporary to permanent, ongoing position ** Own transport will be required due to location ** Duties include * Working under instruction from Machinist/Shift Supervisor * Assisting in day-to-day operations * Ticketing and processing orders * Skidding and stacking of packs * Daily housekeeping duties * Operating in-house machinery, including the shrink wrap machine * General reporting of any maintenance and quality issues * Carry all work out in-line with to current risk assessment and S.O.P * Any further duties required. The successful candidate will have * Experience within a similar production environment is desirable * Forklift or counter balance license is desirable * Basic Numeracy and English Qualifications * In house machine knowledge provided on the job Personal attributes * A confident, enthusiastic, approachable and motivated person. * Energetic and flexible team member. * Has a proactive and #39;can do #39; attitude. * Sense of responsibility. * Ability to build good working relationships If you are interested in this role then please submit your CV or call (phone number removed) to arrange registration.
