Project engineer

Project Engineer Based in Ireland but working on UK contracts. Our client is expanding its UK business and seeks a Project Engineer to contribute to planning, developing, and delivering assigned projects. This role focuses on larger contracts and off-site build solutions in the water industry. Location: Office based in Co. Cork, Ireland, with occasional travel within the UK and Ireland. This role might suit a project engineer seeking some time working overseas, or an Irish person looking to return to live in Ireland Duties Responsibilities: Support Team Lead/Project Managers in delivering water and wastewater treatment projects on time and within budget. Coordinate with on-site, workshop, and office-based personnel to ensure contract compliance. Conduct site visits for planning, monitoring, and closing out project activities. Liaise with clients for project planning and contract management. Ensure health, safety, environment, and quality standards are upheld throughout projects. Manage project finances, including purchasing and data entry.Key Skills Experience: Engineering or science degree, HND, or equivalent. Minimum one-year postgraduate experience in project engineering or related role in utilities or M E engineering. Experience in the UK water industry preferred. Proficient in MS Office, report writing, and data analysis. Willingness to travel and hold a full driving license.Package: Salary: Up to GBP40,000, negotiable based on experience.
