Industrial electrician

This is an exciting opportunity to join the maintenance team of a medium sized industrial plant. The role is based in the site #39;s large, well-equipped workshop and its primary duties comprise a mix of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation work. Candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside a multi-skilled and highly experienced team. The work of the Industrial Electrician is crucial to support the reliable operation of this unique facility, with no two days being the same. Training in fabrication and general welding will be provided. Working Hours Monday to Friday. Rotating shift pattern - 0600:1400 / (Apply online only). Duties include but are not limited to installation, maintenance and removal of electrical components within the industrial and office environments of the site. Reports directly to maintenance supervisor. Duties Overview: 1. Safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs, installations and removals of primarily electrical equipment, but also of mechanical equipment as required. 2. Use of fixed and mobile power tools, including but not limited to drills, saws and impact drivers. Use of vehicles including counterbalance forklift trucks and articulated boom lifts. 3. Assist in the troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation, including the interpretation of basic to intermediate electrical diagrams. 4. Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned according to the needs of the business.
