Interim finance manager

Intro Cedar is currently partnered with a rapidly scaling Fintech to secure an Interim Finance Manager based in Central London. The role is a 3-6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between GBP450 - GBP500 per day. The Company This rapidly expanding Fintech leads the world of payments, currency exchanges banking. This role will join an established, high performing team, that builds on internal skillsets and offers opportunities (international local) beyond the initial contract length. The Role As the Interim Finance Manager, you will: Collaborate closely with Regional Controllers, Group Accounting, Reporting Tax teams to ensure that our financial practices adhere to regulations and standards. Manage local audits, fostering relationships with outsource firms, and staying ahead of evolving financial regulations. Serve as the go-to finance expert for our regional team, including Expansion, Compliance, Product, and People departments. Interpret and adapt to new entities, products, and legislative changes, ensuring that the firms financial strategies align with our growth objectives. Conduct meticulous reviews of monthly and quarterly financial reports to maintain the accuracy and reliability of our financial data.Your Profile You will: Bring relevant experience in financial controlling, audit, reporting, or management accounting. Have proficiency in IFRS or US GAAP, coupled with a robust understanding of accounting principles, underpinning your expertise. Bring experience with large datasets and financial reporting for similar businesses. Maintain regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders and hone your communication skills in conveying reports, requirements, and definitions effectively. Consider the rate of GBP450 - GBP500 per day to represent a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate. Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.Compensation Benefits As well as the day rate of GBP450 - GBP500 per day, the role offers exposure to an impressive, commercially minded team, building out a world-class finance function.
