Architectural Technician - Residential Housebuilder experience required! GBP45000 to GBP50,000 Pontefract My client started out as a family builder and has progressively grown into a well-known house builder specialising in family homes. My client is on the lookout for an experienced Architectural Technologist with Residential/ house builder experience who has previously worked for an Architect practice or a house builder. This role has become available due to growth, and this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to progress and develop. Duties * Producing standard house designs as well as technical site layouts please * Standard house pack designs * Take site layout plans to technical working drawings. * Produce standard library details from scratch. * Co-ordinate designs with external engineering consultants * Check, overlay and approve sub-contractor designs. * Set up architectural standard process and procedure. * Set up drawing issue and track drawing issues. * Offer site support with architectural drawing works. Requirements: * Preference would be someone from a PLC or an architect rsquo;s practise that is used to working on the large housing developer. * CSCS card qualification. * Experience working within a technical role at a residential house builder. * Use of online drawing management systems. * Use of Revit. * Continued professional development and keeping up to date with changes within the industry. * Ability to assess architectural drawings to identify build risks and opportunities.
