Job description:

FPS are recruting for Mobile Technicians based in Scotland #39;s Central Belt to start with one of the UK #39;s largest contractors on a permanent basis. Duties: To carry out the following works in accordance with the requirements of ACOP L8, BS6700 and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations:- Hot and cold water temperature monitoring Shower head cleans and disinfections Calorifier base flushing/calorifier temperatures, including flow and return Calorifier internal inspections Water sampling Tank and down water services disinfections/chlorination Dead-leg removal Cooling tower clean and disinfections Drawing of water systems schematics and the preparation and completion of job sheets TMV Testing Improvements/upgrading of domestic systems to fall within A.C.O.P L8 guidelines Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments and carrying out monitoring for the control of legionella Additional duties such as inspections of water storage tanks, hot water boilers and air conditioning systems Qualifications: Essential Sound understanding of requirements under Health and Safety Legislation Use of PDA and computer literate A good mechanical aptitude Ability to interface with people, including clients, at all levels Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks Ability to be a self starter within a team environment and lone working Must be capable of working in confined spaces/at height Background in legionella Control with several years #39; experience in site monitoring and testing Understand all the legal requirements Must live in Central area, Scotland or willing to relocate Desirable Water sampling and testing experience Knowledge of Pool plant and equipment Salary - GBP25k-GBP30k + Van and Fuel Card If you are interested in the role, please send your CV or call Callum on (phone number removed) for more information.
