Job ref: Salary: GBP 22,833 per annum ( GBP 11.51 per hour), increasing to GBP 25,175 per annum ( GBP 12.69 per hour) on completion of a 6 month probation period (based on a 38 hour full time), plus an additional supplement of GBP 824 per annum pro rota. You could earn a total package of circa GBP 30,000 per annum, including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week with overtime). Contract Type: Fixed Term Working hours: 38 Full time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 08:00 : 17:00 with up to 2.5 hours of scheduled attendance per day. About the role First things first, you ll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. Then you ll be busy collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses. It s important that you re able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg. It s essential that you have a full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B). In an ideal world you ll have a clean licence but it definitely shouldn t have more than 6 penalty points. And, just so you know, you ll be required to show your licence at your assessment.
