The Candidate: * Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in leading and managing technical development teams and projects. * Strong leadership and management abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve projects objectives and drive innovation. * Strong knowledge of materials science principles, including materials synthesis, characterisation techniques and performance evaluation * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Role: * As the Technical Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our material sciences development projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of materials science principles and possess strong leadership and project management skills. * The role will involve overseeing the technical aspects of research and development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation to deliver high-quality materials solutions for our customers. * Lead and manage the team on material sciences development projects from concept to commercialisation, ensuring the team adhere to project timelines, budget and quality standards. * Bring together the team to collaborate and with production, product managers to define project objectives, deliverable, milestones and set priorities. * Provide technical expertise and guidance in materials science, including materials selection synthesis, characterisation and performance evaluation.
