Role Overview: As the Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical contracts within the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical (M E) systems will be vital in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while meeting operational and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee multiple mechanical contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. * Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate the execution of mechanical works, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols. * Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations and mitigate risks. * Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and client satisfaction. * Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project teams, assisting in resolving complex engineering challenges. * Work closely with the commercial department to prepare and review budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports related to mechanical contracts. * Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager within the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors is essential. * A strong background in mechanical and electrical (M E) systems, with a comprehensive understanding of the industry #39;s best practices. * Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Sound commercial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for mechanical contracts. * Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. * Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions. * Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are highly desirable
