Part time accounts assistant

Our client is looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their offices in Bromsgrove ideally working 5 days a week. This role will be to carry out relevant bookkeeping tasks such as raising purchase orders, invoice posting and cash posting. Part Time Accounts Assistant key duties include:- Statement reconciliations and raising of payments Assist with Monthly repeat sales invoices Assist with Credit Control Carry out other general office accounts administration duties To assist with weekly wages and HR admin as required. To assist the Assistant Accountant and Financial Director as required potentially booking some travel and accommodation for employees as required The successful Part Time Accounts Assistant will have the following skills and experience:- Previous of bookkeeping/ accounts role is essential Experience of using accounts software Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of the construction industry would be a distinct advantage but not essential. In return this is a 25 hour a week contract ideally over 5 days, free onsite parking, a basic salary of GBP18,000 and an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
