CAD Methods Technician Are you looking to progress your career by working on Britain rsquo;s biggest construction project? Balfour Beatty VINCI is working with a range of organisations to design and build 90km West Midlands stretch of HS2 - Britain rsquo;s new high speed railway.. Our work is essential to enable HS2 trains to travel between London and Birmingham as well as continue their journey up to Manchester. It rsquo;s an incredibly exciting time to join us - we rsquo;re at peak construction with work really ramping up on a broad range of assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts. Plus you rsquo;d join 9,000 people across 72 nationalities working on this exciting section of HS2 across the region. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CAD Methods Technician within the Design Team. This role will be based on site in Water Orton, The project rsquo;s most complex network of structures in the West Midlands, this sublot includes the Delta Junction ndash; a triangular section of the high-speed railway made up of nine precast segmental viaducts, embankments, and other bridging structures, with around 10km of track crossing a network of motorways, roads and rivers. To deliver methods drawings for the safe construction methods of Delta junction. Prepare general construction sequences and detailed construction sequences related to concrete assets according to Methods Engineer instruction and guidance. bull; Prepare site installation drawings including access, equipment, utilities, lifting means hellip; bull; Prepare conceptual drawings of temporary works to summarize input data to be considered by Temporary Works Designers. bull; Prepare conceptual traffic management drawings for the construction of assets. bull; Prepare general informative drawings for an easy understanding of the project bull; Prepare concept design of working platform The following qualities/experience are essential: bull; Excellent skills in Autocad and Microstation bull; Skills in 3D modelling using Civil 3D or OpenRoads /Covadis bull; Knowledge about formwork, scaffold, shoring, falseworks, lifting equipment bull; Knowledge of ProjectWise bull; Understanding of construction sequence Please note candidates will need to have a current valid right to work in the UK to be considered for this role. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
