Multi skilled engineer

Job Title - Multiskilled Engineer Role Purpose: My client are a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team located in St Paul #39;s, working in the Legal Services Sector. The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to Equipment and Building Services, and support our team to ensure continuity of services for our client. Primary Objectives and Tasks: * Ensure continuity of engineering services to our client. * Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program * Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain machinery PPM rsquo;s * Respond to reactive requests and work within response and resolution targets. * Fault finding on common building services equipment. * Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to daily service delivery on site * Write and follow Risk Assessments * Complete the required documentation as specified with requirements of all rules legislation * Chaperone and manage contractor activity. * Communicate with clients to understand needs, ensure issues are followed up and clients are satisfied with the support provided. * Liaise with other onside stakeholders for the client and landlord to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required. * To be the responsible person when required for the department and deputise the Site Technical Manager * Promote a safe working environment and escalate any concerns. * Ensure compliance in accordance to the platform and the Client Standards. Core Competencies: * Strong proven experience with M E maintenance * Electrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition * Mechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild rsquo;s * Good multi skilled ability * Experience working on 3 phase motors, drives and inverters * NVQ Qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
