Maintenance engineer

We #39;re currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a prominent manufacturing company based in Kettlehill, Cupar. This exciting opportunity has become available due to a large expansion within the business. The shifts are 4 on 4 off days and nights and the salary on offer is GBP40,000 - GBP44,000. Overview As part of this role, you #39;ll be responsible for addressing reactive breakdowns, executing planned maintenance tasks, and contributing to exciting projects. Other duties include: * Troubleshooting and repairing production machines. * Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards. * Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan. * Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues. * Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems. * Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency. * Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production. * Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records. * Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections. Required Experience: * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. * Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
